in developing and implementing a plan to include adult learners
in program support activities.

Research
and work with program staff and volunteers to enhance organizational
capacity in key program areas (Program Marketing and Volunteer,
Student Recruitment/Resource Development/Student Involvement
and Leadership Development/Capacity Building).

Staff
program booth or otherwise represent literacy organization
at community events.

Identify
potential partners to work with program to advance community
literacy efforts.

Assist
with other special projects as needed.

Assist
in the development and distribution of volunteer and student

Coordinate,
write and distribute an electronic newsletter providing adult
literacy news, information and resources to practitioners
via e-mail.

Research
and share literacy resources through the FLC web site, newsletters

in coordinating and presenting professional development workshops.

Resource Center booth and materials at conferences and/or
other venues.

Assist
in the coordination and implementation of the Florida Literacy
Conference.

Identify
on-line resources for inclusion on the FLC Resource Center
web site.

Identify
hard copy resources for inclusion in Resource Center Clearinghouse.

Assist
in the coordination of a statewide marketing campaign to promote
literacy and the state literacy hot line.

Write
articles for FLC print and electronic newsletters.

Coordinate
partnerships with a) state and regional organizations servings
low income communities and b) organizations that may provide
assistance with recruiting volunteers and students.

Coordinate
statewide student involvement/leadership activities.

Assist
in research and writing of grant proposals.

Research
and contact and secure prospective conference/program sponsors.
Assist with other special projects as opportunities develop.
